Produced alongside the Brothers Lawrence of Disclosure, “J.A.W.S.” is the gorgeous debut single of totally unknown UK artist Lxury. It’s astoundingly mature, featuring infectious synth work, a simplistic yet effective vocal sample, and an overall impressive grasp of dance know-how. As recently as a week ago, the producer was spelling his name “Luxury” (read: correctly), only in the days since he’s seen both a spelling change to the moniker (presumably because he realized a bunch of artists and labels share the name) and the release of this track on Method Records. I grabbed it immediately.
